With the development of the internet, elearning – combined with an official exam taken at an approved City and Guilds center – is now a viable solution. The only trouble is that, historically, elearning has put some people off because it’s been delivered in the form of ‘death by PowerPoint’!

Whichever course you choose, the two-hour exam is a full exam; that’s sixty questions across the whole of the book. There is no update exam as there was from the 16th to 17th Edition.
* The great thing about the courses is you only need to study the parts that reinforce your weaker areas, which can be determined using the integrated state-of-the-art Exam Simulator or the Final Assessment. Once you’re up to speed, all you need to do is pass the Final Assessment (with a mark of at least 80 %).
